UAE Match Systems Retrieves $68 mn Worth Of Stolen Bitcoin

UAE-based Match Systems, a cyber security company specializing in Anti Money Laundering (AML) services, has successfully recovered $68 mn of stolen Bitcoin crypto assets from Cryptex. An unknown scammer received the stolen tokens and transferred them to various addresses.

Match Systems provided assistance to the victim, and within a week, they found and fully returned the assets to the crypto whale.

This incident demonstrates the importance of prompt contact with specialists in cases of crypto fraud, as the sooner the victim seeks help, the higher the probability of regaining the stolen funds. Match Systems also offers compliance and AML services, blockchain investigations, due diligence, forensics/assets tracing, multi-account abuse detection, and education.

In the past, Match Systems has completed 23 cases, including Revil, where damages amounted to $100 million and retrieved assets were $0.7 million, and Hydra, where damages amounted to $1.3 billion and retrieved assets were $3.2 million. Match Systems collaborates with the UAE government’s criminal investigation and digital forensics departments.
