TeraWulf Sells 25% Stake in BTC Mining Facility for $92 mn.
Bitcoin mining business TeraWulf sold its 25% stake in a 200-megawatt plant to Talen Energy for $92 million. This purchase gives TeraWulf a 3.4x return on its Nautilus facility investment, as reported on October 4.
Cash is $85 million and 30000 miners and equipment are worth $7 million. TeraWulf will develop a 20MW HPC and AI data center power plant using these funding.
PayPal, Ernst & Young Settle First Corporate Payment Via PYUSD Stablecoin.
The Fintech Company PayPal conducted its first commercial payment using PayPal USD (PYUSD), its USD-pegged stablecoin.
The payment was sent to Ernst & Young using SAP’s digital currency gateway, Bloomberg reported Oct. 3. Companies did not reveal invoice amounts.

Ripple Partners With Brazilian Exchange Mercado Bitcoin to Offer Business-Focused Payments Solution.
Digital asset infrastructure provider Ripple has teamed with top Brazilian crypto exchange Mercado Bitcoin to provide companies its managed end-to-end payments solution.
Ripple said that Mercado Bitcoin utilizes its solution to better its internal treasury processes between Brazil and Portugal.
The company wants to let business and retail clients pay internationally using Brazilian Reais.
The exchange will be Ripple’s first Latin American corporate payment client.
