TCS To Focus AI; Announces Restructuring
Tata Consultancy Services’ stock rose 1.18 percent after the company announced an organizational restructure under its new CEO, K. Krithivasan.
The CEO established TCS AI Cloud as a new business unit to focus on all prospects resulting from AI-based initiatives. TCS has been working on generative AI solutions, but the new team will take a more concentrated and targeted approach to realizing the potential of artificial intelligence.
The stock rose 1.18 percent to 3,395 at 10:20 a.m. on the BSE.
