The huge firm Strategy, known for its aggressive Bitcoin treasury strategy, has paid over $204.1 million for 3,015 BTC.
The company bought Bitcoin during the week of February 23 at an average price of about $67,700 per coin. The transaction was financed by an at-the-market equity offering that raised roughly $237 million.
Following their most recent acquisition, Strategy now owns 720,737 Bitcoin, or almost $49.5 billion. The average purchase price of each Bitcoin in the company’s portfolio is around $75,985.
Throughout 2025, Strategy has been gradually increasing its Bitcoin holdings. It has spent more than $4.3 billion to buy 48,237 BTC so far this year.
The company disclosed modifications to its preferred stock structure in conjunction with the acquisition. It declared cash dividends for a number of other preferred share classes and raised the dividend rate for one of its preferred stock offerings from 11.25% to 11.50%.
Strategy’s strategy has made it the world’s biggest corporate Bitcoin holder, and it still has an impact on how other businesses see digital assets as a component of their balance sheets.
