Shiba Inu Ranks As Fourth Most Popular Crypto

New research by Marketplace Fairness confirms Shiba Inu as the fourth most popular cryptocurrency among searchers, surpassing mainstream assets like Cardano, Litecoin, Tether, and Solana. The Shiba Inu ecosystem excels in strong community and sustained user interest, highlighting the importance of these factors for cryptocurrency projects.

A study on Google’s search engine revealed Ethereum as the second most popular alternative to Bitcoin, with 3,260,000 monthly searches. This is based on the market cap difference between BTC and ETH, which have dominated the crypto market cap rankings for the past decade. At the time of writing, BTC and ETH account for 67.8% of the $1 trillion global crypto market cap.

However, research by Marketplace Fairness shows that market cap rankings do not necessarily reflect an asset’s popularity. XRP, the third most popular altcoin, ranked third with 1,250,000 monthly searches, but trails Binance Coin and Tether on the market capitalization list. Shiba Inu, out of over 23,000 digital assets, ranked fourth most searched crypto.
