Solari Capital, founded by AJ Scaramucci, led a $220 million investment in American Bitcoin, a mining firm co-founded by Eric Trump and backed by Donald Trump Jr. The investment was made prior to the company’s reverse-merger listing in September but was not previously disclosed.
AJ Scaramucci said Solari contributed more than $100 million, while his father, SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci, added a smaller personal investment. Other notable backers included Tony Robbins, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, Grant Cardone, and Peter Diamandis.
Though Anthony Scaramucci has publicly criticized Donald Trump in the past, the investment highlights emerging bipartisan and multigenerational interest in U.S.-based Bitcoin infrastructure.
