Revolut has received a Markets in Crypto Assets license from Cyprus regulators, allowing it to offer regulated crypto services across all 30 EEA countries.
Serving 65 million customers globally, Revolut plans to launch “Crypto 2.0” — an upgraded platform offering over 280 tokens, zero-fee staking with up to 22% annual yield, and stablecoin-to-USD swaps with no spread.
The move strengthens its compliance-first approach as MiCA reshapes Europe’s crypto rules. Revolut said its Cyprus base will now serve as the operational hub for EU crypto services.
