If you ask me I think….games that simply create magic…magic in the sense…..people cross borders to meet each other..

Okay just kidding…unless you are living under a rock you know how addictive PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is ..Okay yaar sorry sorry PUBG ..PUBG.

Few months ago PUBG creator Krafton launched a Project called ‘Migaloo’…Now the South Korean game studio announced that its upcoming NFT-driven metaverse game project will be called ‘Overdare’—and offered a first look at the creation-centric platform.

A soft-launch of Overdare is scheduled in December and completely released between January and July 2024, according to Krafton. Oh, and for the game, the business has established its own blockchain, known as Settlus.

Overdare appears to be a Roblox-like mobile game platform developed with Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5 that will provide creators with generative artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to assist gamers in creating their own shooting games, role-playing games (RPGs), and action RPGs, among other things. Users will also be able to design custom avatars and talk with one another on the social game platform.

The first official teaser shows an open-world platform where users can create games and landscapes with AI tools, play a variety of user-generated games, attend virtual concerts, customise their avatars, and more.

Overdare plans to introduce a “create-to-earn” game economy, allowing players to buy and sell in-game digital assets as NFTs, aiming to provide transparency and secure transactions in the gaming experience.

Earlier this year, Krafton announced the project as a joint venture between the studio and Naver Z, an augmented reality (AR) tech firm. Krafton still holds an 85% stake in the project, while Naver Z holds the remaining 15%.

Krafton and Naver Z are utilizing Settlus blockchain for Overdare’s economy, enabling gamers to earn funds in Coinbase and Circle’s USDC stablecoin, using Cosmos for USDC payments, as announced during Korea Blockchain Week.
