Portkey Bags $3 mn Seed Funding
Portkey.ai, an enterprise IT firm with a focus on generative AI, has raised $3 million as part of a seed fundraising round headed by Lightspeed. Several angel investors, including AWS, OpenAI, Cloudflare, Postman, and Asana, took part in the round as well.
For connecting to LLMs or successfully managing prompts, Portkey also provides full-stack LLMOps tools with connectors across platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, Langchain, and LlamaIndex.
The startup, Portkey, has partnered with companies like Postman, Jio Haptik, and Springworks to serve millions of requests daily. It plans to release products in fine-tuning models and real-time canary testing. Portkey aims to capitalize on the growing Indian internet economy, driven by app downloads and the growing number of enterprises seeking app solutions. The Indian SaaS market is projected to reach $26 billion by 2026.
