Polygon Bags Its Second Partnership With India
Sandeep Nailwal, Polygon’s founder, highlighted the significance of real-world Web3 use cases in driving cryptocurrencies adoption. In West Bengal, the City Development Authority has partnered with Airchains and Polygon Supernets to implement a blockchain-based land ownership and mutation system.
The system aims to prevent scams and create a trustworthy platform for land ownership transactions. Additionally, the blockchain-based land ownership system facilitates fractional property ownership, allowing multiple investors to own a portion of a property, allowing broader access to real estate investments.
Nailwal expressed gratitude for the West Bengal City Development Authority’s use of Polygon as a blockchain platform, highlighting India’s government’s similar decision. Airchains, founded in 2022 by Sinha and Kritarth Agrawal, enables users to deploy, develop, and expand their own blockchains. The company has partnered with government bodies, such as the police department in Firozabad, to introduce a complaint management system, establish a blockchain-based monitoring system for industrial CSR plantation activities, and implement blockchain solutions for transportation management.
