Oracle Integrates Generative AI In Healthcare
Oracle has introduced generative AI services for healthcare organizations, including the Oracle Clinical Digital Assistant, which uses voice commands to reduce manual work and focus on patient care. The solution allows patients to schedule appointments and check clinical information at their convenience. The Oracle Clinical Digital Assistant is built on the Oracle Digital Assistant platform, which is already used by various organizations across multiple industries for critical tasks.
Oracle is introducing a generative AI-powered Oracle Clinical Digital Assistant to address patients’ dissatisfaction with electronic health record solutions. The assistant automates note-taking and proposes context-aware actions, such as ordering medication or scheduling labs. It also responds to conversational voice commands from providers, allowing them to access patient information from their electronic health record (EHR). The information and images are delivered in a relevant order, helping physicians understand the appropriate treatment path without requiring a multi-menu interaction. The new solution is expected to be available in the next 12 months.
