Ether.fi and OpenLedger, a blockchain platform specializing in AI development, have partnered in a $6 billion deal to improve network security.
The collaboration integrates OpenLedger’s AI platform with Ether.fi’s restaking system, providing enterprise-level security for decentralized AI development.
This partnership aligns with OpenLedger’s upcoming testnet launch and follows its recent $8 million funding round.
Stablecoin Payments Platform BVNK Raises $50 mn to Fuel U.S. Expansion.
The stablecoin infrastructure platform BVNK has raised $50 million in Series B funding as it seeks to expand its U.S. operations.
Formed in late 2021, BVNK raised $40 million in Series A funding the following May and won registration in Spain a few months later.
Haun Ventures led the most recent investment round, which also included contributions from Coinbase Ventures and Tiger Global, according to BVNK on Tuesday.
Avara’s Lens Secures $31 mn for SocialFi-Focused L2 Blockchain.
Avara developed Lens, a layer-2 blockchain for SocialFi use cases, and Lightspeed Faction led a funding round that raised $31 million.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its infrastructure in preparation for the mainnet launch on Ethereum in early 2025. Lens offers customizable, plug-and-play social features such as accounts, usernames, feeds, and monetization capabilities for developers.
The platform aims to deliver a fast, cost-effective, and secure L2 solution with web2-like ease and blockchain benefits.
It has already partnered with major platforms like Alchemy, Chainlink, The Graph, and MetaMask. Other investors include Circle, Consensys, and Wintermute Ventures.
Plume Network Secures $20 mn for Tokenization Platform.
Tokenization startup Plume Network has closed a $20-million funding round to support the development of its real-world assets ecosystem.
Brevan Howard Digital, Haun Ventures, Lightspeed Faction, and Galaxy Ventures led the investment round, according to a Fortune report on Dec. 18. Previous investors in the startup included SV Angels and Portal Ventures.
MegaETH Secures $20 mn in Seed Funding to Revolutionize Blockchain Scalability.
Dragonfly Capital led a $20 million seed funding round for MegaETH, a blockchain platform that focuses on improving transaction speeds and scalability, with participation from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and ConsenSys CEO Joseph Lubin.
The platform aims to process up to 100,000 transactions per second (TPS) with millisecond latency, offering full Ethereum compatibility.
