Odisha Launches ‘Ai For Youth’ Initiative
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday launched ‘Odisha for Artificial Intelligence’ and ‘Artificial Intelligence for Youth’ initiatives.
The state government has roped in tech firm Intel for the initiative.
In the first phase, it would be implemented in Bhubaneswar, Puri and Cuttack, officials said.
In his remarks, the chief minister emphasised that artificial intelligence has the immense potential to transform our world and promote economic progress.
He claimed that his country’s focus has been on technology-driven transformation, which is a key element of the 5T project, and he assured that this will improve people’s digital literacy and familiarity with the most cutting-edge technologies of the future. He claims that it will also create an environment that encourages research, creation, and application across a range of industries.
He commended Intel India and the Electronics & IT Department for their collaboration and asked all government agencies to use these programmes and train workers so they can be at the forefront of the AI revolution.
