No Plans To Invest In Crypto Exchanges: Temasek
According to its Chief Investment Officer Rohit Sipahimalani, Singapore’s state-owned investor Temasek Holdings Pte is not currently planning to engage in cryptocurrency exchanges due to regulatory uncertainty in the space.
Sipahimalani reiterated Temasek’s long-standing claim that it doesn’t invest directly in cryptocurrencies in the CNBC interview. After writing out its entire $275 million investment in FTX last year, the company’s alternate strategy of supporting service providers in the sector failed.
