Netherlands Cricket Team Ropes in Nordek
Prior to the eagerly anticipated ODI Cricket World Cup 2023, the Netherlands Cricket Team signs Nordek, a global blockchain and Web3 Payments startup, as its title sponsor.
Nordek, a blockchain company, has become a sponsor of Team Netherlands, following a trend of fintech and edutech players becoming sponsors of major cricket teams. The company, founded by blockchain entrepreneurs Kashyap and Kishor, aims to capitalize on the European blockchain market, which is expected to grow significantly.
Nordek plans to expand its brand presence across countries where blockchain is gaining traction, including the Middle East, where fintech and blockchain technology are increasing. The company also offers free blockchain education to over 100 universities and colleges.
