MHA Plans G20 Conference On Crime,Security In Web3
On the 13th and 14th of July 2023, the Ministry of Home Affairs will host the “G20 Conference on Crime and Security in the Age of NFTs, AI, and Metaverse” in Gurugram, Haryana. The two-day event will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the Ministry of External Affairs, the Secretariat of the National Security Council, and the Central Bureau of Investigation. The organizing partners are Rashtriya Raksha University, National Forensic Science University, National Law School of India University, Interpol, and UNODC.
The Ministry of Home Affairs organized a Round Table in New Delhi to present the details of the proposed G20 Conference.
The conference will bring together G-20 nations, invited countries, and international organizations. There will also be participation from Ministries/Organizations of the Government of India, Chief Secretaries/Administrators of States/UTs, Director Generals of Police of States/UTs, cyber experts, and guest speakers from the legal fraternity, academia, training institutions, financial intermediaries, fintech, social media intermediaries, information and communication technology, cyber forensics, regulators, startups, over-the-top (OTT) service providers, e-commerce companies, and ad agencies.
