Japan’s Sakana AI Partners Nvidia For Research, Raises $100 mn.

Nvidia, the world’s leading technology company for AI, has teamed up with the Tokyo-based enterprise. The company was able to raise $100 million through the first round of funding, because of the like New Enterprise Associates, Khosla Ventures, and Lux Capital. These funds obtained will serve as the foundation for AI technology in Japan, emphasizing the development of environmentally friendly nature-inspired AI technologies.

Blockchain Music Startup Tune.fm Raises $50 mn From Global Emerging Markets.

Global Emerging Markets invested $50 million in the blockchain-based sampler Tune.fm, increasing their total investment to $80 million. The fresh investment will be used to improve the JAM token’s functionality and make it possible to reward both users and artists with increased payments.

Stockholm-based Wingbits, a flight-tracking network built on the Solana blockchain, raised $3.5 million in initial funding from investors including Borderless Capital, Tribe Capital, and Antler. The funds will support Wingbits in enhancing decentralized flight-tracking capabilities.
