ISKCON Dwarka To Form ‘Virtual Bond’ In Metaverse
ISKCON Dwarka will form a ‘virtual bond’ with its disciples via the Metaverse. According to ISKCON Dwarka Vice President, the metaverse includes live Abhishek ceremonies, soul-stirring aarties, and virtual parikrama experiences.
Ordering ‘prasad’ at digital restaurants, making online donations, or conducting virtual circumambulation are all options for ISKCON Dwarka disciples as the temple prepares to go metaverse, beginning Thursday on the celebration of Janmashtami.
The digital avatar of the temple, which existed before the physical structure, offers a one-of-a-kind ‘virtual relationship’ between god and its disciples.
The main temple complex of ISKCON Dwarka, also known as Sri Sri Rukmini Dwarakadhish Temple, is now under construction and is anticipated to be completed by May of next year. Notably, the virtual experience was built using architectural renderings of the temple.
