HSBC Plans Seamless Banking Services In Metaverse
Despite persistent regulatory obstacles, well-known corporations continue to investigate prospects in the crypto sector. According to the most recent developments, HSBC has submitted trademark applications to enter the metaverse and non-fungible token (NFT) sectors.
HSBC filed two trademark applications with the US Patent and Trademark Office, according to property attorney Mike Kondoudis. On June 12, 2023, the monetary service provider announced a new initiative aimed at the metaverse and NFTs.
According to the most recent updates, HSBC has applied for a trademark in order to provide safe electronic payments in the virtual world. In addition, the bank intends to launch software solutions for fraud prevention and identity verification within the metaverse.
