Gemini Launches Ethereum Staking In The UK
Gemini, the cryptocurrency exchange founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, continues to vigorously expand its services globally, premiering Ethereum staking in the United Kingdom.
Gemini officially announced the expansion of Gemini Staking Pro in the United Kingdom on June 23. The programme allows organisations and wealthy people to become Ethereum validators by securing at least 32 Ether (ETH), which is currently valued roughly $60,000 at the time of writing.
The institutional ETH staking programme, provided by Gemini Trust Company, is now available on the Gemini web interface, according to the company.
Gemini Staking Pro is the sole staking solution offered in the United Kingdom at the time of launch. According to Gemini Support, the United Kingdom is the only country in Gemini’s coverage where the platform only operates institutional staking.
