Ethereum Realized Cap Crosses $181 bn
Glassnode, a top on-chain resource, revealed Ethereum’s on-chain activities, revealing its automated alert system indicating a significant valuation milestone.
The Realised Capitalization of Ethereum has reached $181 billion, according to Glassnode. Notably, the figure marks its peak over the previous eight months.
The market chart that accompanied the tweet also demonstrated that the realised cap for ETH had been on an upward trend since January 2023. The realised cap was over $190 billion as of November 2022. However, it experienced a sharp decline and fell below $170 billion in just two months.
In order to put things in perspective, realised cap is a metric that calculates the total value of all Ethereum tokens that have been moved on-chain in the last 12 months. By taking into account the price of a coin at the time of its last transaction rather than its current value, the metric, according to Glassnode, assigns value to each Unspent Transaction Output (UTXO).
