Ethereum Logs $1M MEV Block Reward
According to reports, the latest Curve Finance exploit produced one of the greatest maximal extractable value (MEV) reward blocks ever, totaling 584.05 ETH.
A core developer for Ethereum named “eric.eth” noted on July 31 that “today has produced some of the largest MEV reward blocks in Ethereum’s history,” noting that the July 30 vulnerability of Curve Finance stable pools was to blame.
Data indicates that in March, a higher MEV reward block of 692 ETH was registered.
According to Beaconcha.in, the largest MEV bot block reward was 584.05 ETH, worth almost $1 million, and confirmed at 1.34 am UTC on July 31. Around that time, there were additional block rewards for 345 ETH and 247 ETH.
