The funding was led by IVP, a portfolio of crypto and fintech companies, and included investments from NEA, Elad Gil, Nat Friedman, Databricks, Nvidia, and Jeff Bezos.
Interchain Foundation Unveils $26 mn Budget for Funding Program
The Interchain Foundation (ICF) announced a $26.4 million budget for its funding program in 2024. According to an announcement, the capital will be used to maintain and develop the Interchain Stack, an open-source and decentralized blockchain ecosystem or blockchain-based apps and services.
Projects underwritten by the program include Binary Builders, Confio, Cosmology, Informal Systems, Strangelove Ventures, and Zondax.
Farcana Raises $10 mn for NFT Esports Shooter
The Farcana team has raised $10 million in seed funding from Animoca Brands, Polygon Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, Merit Circle, and others to further develop its third-person multiplayer shooter game, Farcana.
Rarestone Capital, MMPro Trust, Unpopular Ventures, Kapo Capital, Emchain, Hasu Capital, and Dravus Investment also participated in the round.
Foresight Ventures Launches 3rd $10 mn Crypto Accelerator Following The Block Deal
Foresight Ventures, a Singapore-based venture capital firm, plans to launch a $10 million accelerator for blockchain and Web3 firms. The accelerator will focus on artificial intelligence, Bitcoin Ordinals, and direct-to-consumer protocols.
The program, which will run until January 2024, will provide between $200,000 and $500,000 in initial funding, mentorship, an offline demo day, and internal resources in the Foresight portfolio of startups.
