Crypto Exchange Luno Exits Singapore Market
Luno, a cryptocurrency exchange owned by Digital Currency Group, is closing its Singapore office. This change is part of Luno’s ongoing evaluation of its “global strategy and presence,” according to a blog post.
Furthermore, the company notified Singapore’s relevant authorities. That it was withdrawing its application for a business licence there.
The exchange stated:
“As a key financial hub in the region and an innovator in financial technology, Singapore has the potential to lead the way in using crypto to build a fair and robust financial system. We can’t wait to watch its journey and are proud to have been a part of it.”
