Coinbase Expands Global Footprint; Enters Canada
The cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase declared that it had begun conducting business in Canada. The company launched Coinbase One, a 30-day trial offering zero trading fees and priority support, to local users as part of the initiative.
The company has had to deal with serious regulatory problems in its home country, with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) being the primary source of issues. One of the possible explanations for Coinbase’s recent shift in focus to other nations is that dispute.
Coinbase, a leading US-based crypto exchange, has expanded into the North American market due to a comprehensive regulatory framework and local innovation interest. With 30% of Canadians interested in the crypto industry, the platform now allows Canadian users to deposit and withdraw funds in CAD through Interac e-transfers and onboard Coinbase One, which offers zero trading fees, priority support, and enhanced staking rewards.
