Circle has partnered with Sony Block Solutions Labs to boost the use of USDC on Soneium, a layer-2 blockchain launched by Sony in August 2024. Announced on September 15, the partnership will integrate Circle’s Bridged USDC Standard, positioning Soneium’s stablecoin as a key value exchange token on this public Ethereum layer-2 blockchain.
Worldcoin’s World ID Gets Bridge To Solana Via Wormhole.
Worldcoin has enabled seamless integration of World ID with the Solana blockchain using a new cross-chain protocol from the Wormhole Foundation. This bridge, developed two and a half months after receiving Wave1 Community Grants, allows Solana developers to incorporate World ID authentication into their DApps, enhancing cross-chain compatibility with Ethereum services.
