Buterin’s Master Plan Aims To Take Down Solana’s Momentum
By Kapil Rajyaguru
New players in the field like Citigroup and Visa are not looking at Solana as a potential substitute to Ethereum because it has very quick transfers and low transaction fees.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin proposed to modify it drastically to boost its competitiveness a few weeks ago. He proposes reducing the validator entry from 32 ETH to 1 ETH, thereby increasing decentralization and strengthening the network’s security.
Moreover, Buterin wants to decrease the completion time of the Ethereum network from 15 minutes to 12 seconds.
As Solana gains momentum, Ethereum finds itself at a critical point in the development of blockchain technology.
