There are exciting weeks in the cryptocurrency market, and then there are weeks like the last one. It felt like the last seven days were a constant chop for Bitcoin, bouncing between $26K and $27K with absolutely no particular direction.
The market is trading more or less where it was last week, and it currently sits at $1.12 billion per data from CoinMarketCap.
This comes on the back of minor movements from major coins such as Ethereum, Binance Coin, XRP, Cardano, and others. In fact, Bitcoin’s dominance is also almost the same as it was last week, showing that the market has remained in equilibrium – more or less.
Ether, the second largest crypto in market value, was similarly range-bound, changing hands just above $1,800, up roughly 1%.
The total crypto market volume over the last 24 hours is $28.57B, which makes a 8.15% decrease. The total volume in DeFi is currently $1.83B, 6.42% of the total crypto market 24-hour volume.
The volume of all stable coins is now $26.42B, which is 92.45% of the total crypto market 24-hour volume. Bitcoin’s dominance is currently 46.24%, an increase of 0.10% over the day.
