Blockchain Data-Availability Project Celestia’s Foundation Raises $100 mn.

Celestia Foundation got $100 million from Bain Capital Crypto, boosting its total capital to $155 million.

However, its native token, TIA, has plummeted 54% since 2024. The funding included Syncracy Capital, 1kx, Robot Ventures, and Placeholder.

The foundation said core developers are concentrating on a newly revealed plan but did not indicate how the extra funding would be utilized.

AI-powered healthtech Qure.ai raised $65 million in Series D investment.

This investment will expedite its US and international operations, improve basic AI models, and enable med-tech acquisitions.

Lightspeed and 360 ONE Asset led the financing, with Merck Global Health Innovation Fund and Kae Capital participating.

Mukesh Bansal’s Nurix AI bags $27.5 mn from General Catalyst, Accel.

Nurix AI, created by Myntra and Cultfit founder Mukesh Bansal, earned $27.5 million in seed and Series A investment from General Catalyst and Accel on September 24.

The business offers corporate agentic AI solutions to capitalize on the fast-growing generative AI sector.

Tomasz Tunguz’s Theory Ventures bets $12 mn on Initia, the ‘iOS for web3’.

Initia secured $14 million in Series A funding, mostly from Tomasz Tunguz’s Theory Ventures, valuing the token at $350 million.

Theory, which invests in data, AI, and blockchain firms, made its first equity and token investment.

Initia simplifies blockchain application development, a major industry issue.

After Delphi Ventures, Hack VC, and Binance Labs’ investments, Initia has raised $22.5 million.

Ripple Co-Founder Leads $10 mn Raise For Decentralized Clearing.

Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen led a $10 million seed investment for Yellow Network, a decentralized clearing network tackling bitcoin inefficiencies.

The investment targets digital asset market liquidity fragmentation, scalability, and capital efficiency. Other backers include Consensys, GSR, and various VCs.
