Binance To Implement Two Hard Forks This Month
Two hard forks are anticipated for the BNB Chain of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance in August 2023. According to Cointelegraph, this should make it less likely for a malicious blockchain to reorganise itself and make it more compatible with other Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain networks.
According to sources, the Plato and Hertz upgrades will go live after extensive testing on August 10, 2023, and August 30, 2023, respectively. The BEP-126 is anticipated to be introduced as part of the Plato upgrade, which has already occurred. The new proposal might be able to support a fast finality mechanism that would obviate the need for blocks to be reverted.
