Baidu Launches A Slew Of AI Applications
Just days after releasing its ChatGPT-like Ernie bot for public usage, Chinese tech giant Baidu on Tuesday unveiled more than ten new AI-based services.
A word processing tool named WPS AI, developed by Shanghai-listed Kingsoft Office, was one of the products revealed. According to a press release, the tool was developed utilising the AI model that the Baidu Ernie bot is based upon as well as Baidu’s “Qianfan” cloud platform for AI models.
According to the corporation, each month about 10,000 businesses actively use Baidu’s Qianfan cloud platform.
Additionally, Baidu said that its Google Drive-like cloud product’s AI-powered utility has been used by more than 6 million people. According to the business, the AI assistant can search documents, summarise and translate information, and create content.
