Atleta Network Launches Blockchain Solution Designed For Sports Sector

Atleta Network is launching a blockchain platform designed for the sports industry, aiming to improve fan engagement and operational efficiency. The platform, backed by over $8 million in investments, is a layer 1 blockchain with features such as smart contract creation, secure data storage, efficient financial transactions, and a robust decentralized app development ecosystem. It eliminates the need for sports organizations to juggle multiple blockchains for different functionalities and leverages Substrate technology for smooth network operation and minimal transaction fees.

Key features include parachains, enhanced cross-chain communication, modular architecture, and nominated proof-of-stake (NPoS). Upcoming milestones include the launch of the Atleta Testnet in May 2024, whitelist NFTs available until May 2024, and the full launch of the Atleta Mainnet in Q3 2024. The ATLA token fuels the Atleta Network, allowing access to its functionalities and trading for major cryptocurrencies on the built-in DEX. Blockchain Sports operates three football academies in Brazil, which utilize Atleta Network as the core component of their ecosystem.
