AI Startup Secures $30 mn In Khosla-Led Deal
Parag Agrawal, former Twitter CEO until Elon Musk took over in late 2022, has secured $30 million in funding for his AI startup.
The startup focuses on software for large language model developers and their clients. Khosla Ventures, an early supporter of OpenAI, led the funding round, along with Index Ventures and First Round Capital.
The surge in popularity of large language models, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, has sparked interest in Agrawal’s startup. Agrawal, who previously served as CEO of Twitter from 2021 to 2022, brings extensive experience to his AI venture.
His tenure at Twitter began in 2011, and he previously served as Chief Technology Officer at the social media giant, where he contributed to the company’s technical strategy and AI and machine learning implementations.
