Adidas, Moncler Merge Tech & Luxury In NFT AI
The luxury powerhouse Moncler and sportswear behemoth Adidas Originals have joined forces on a non-fungible token initiative, according to Adidas, a leader in the sportswear industry. The digital collectibles went on sale on October 4 in conjunction with a brand-new campaign powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
The two turned their attention to machine learning technology to produce a series of AI-enabled “adventurers” to highlight the tie-up’s new high-low crossover, dubbed “The Art of Explorers.”
The idea was also brought to life in the form of mixed-media sculptures, created by artists Gary Card, Ibby Njoya, and Kate Tabor, and intended to depict the common symbol of outdoor explorers.
Moncler has launched a virtual experience on its website, allowing visitors to navigate a metropolitan backdrop to unlock exclusive products and make purchases through digital billboards. The collaboration also includes a limited-edition token collection featuring the Moncler x Adidas Originals ‘NMD’ boot, available for purchase via Adidas’ Confirmed app and general public on October 5.
