40% of GenAI Solutions Will Be Multimodal by 2027: Gartner

By 2027, 40% of GenAI solutions will be multimodal (text, picture, voice, and video), up from 1% in 2023, according to Gartner, Inc.

Open-source LLMs will democratize commercial access, while domain-specific GenAI models increase use-case alignment, accuracy, security, privacy, and contextualized responses, encouraging GenAI adoption, according to Gartner.

ZKsync Integrates Chainlink’s CCIP for Cross-Chain Ecosystem.

ZKsync’s Era Mainnet now supports Chainlink’s CCIP.

The partnership supports a unified Layer 2 ecosystem on Ethereum by giving developers improved tools to create interoperable apps that bridge decentralized finance and conventional financial institutions.

CCIP on ZKsync Era will enable smart contracts to transmit messages and transfer tokens across blockchain networks.

Cardano Aims to Boost Transaction Efficiency with New Consensus Algorithm.

Cardano wants to implement Leios, a new consensus algorithm, to improve transaction efficiency and surpass Solana’s $132.

A natural progression of Proof of Stake consensus techniques, the algorithm attempts to speed up transactions while retaining Cardano’s infrastructure security.

Leios will have “layered transaction fees” and speedier chain synchronization. For Cardano creator Charles Hoskinson, Leios can make the network quicker than Solana without losing decentralization.

DSF Announces The Launch of MiCA Crypto Alliance.

Hedera, Ripple, and the Aptos Foundation founded the MiCA Crypto Alliance, which the DSF supported.

The alliance promotes compliance with the impending Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) legislation to build a more sustainable and compliant cryptocurrency environment.

The EU guarantees crypto market transparency, consumer safety, and integrity by fully adopting MiCA by the end of the year.

Ethereum Foundation Executes Weekly ETH Sales.

The Ethereum $2,305 Foundation has sold 650 ETH worth $1.51 million in tiny batches for three weeks.

The sales, usually 100 ETH for 226,868 DAI, have raised questions about Ethereum’s pricing and the foundation’s goals.

These sales raise doubts about whether they are for operational purposes or portfolio rebalancing, even if they do not affect prices.
