Meta To Launch Horizon World On Mobile Devices

Mark Zuckerberg is back with another fascinating scheme to entice more users to the metaverse division of Meta, Horizon Worlds! He has been bullish about the metaverse since rebranding Facebook to Meta in 2021. The journey has not been an easy one, with Meta’s Reality Labs losing $21 billion in only 18 months. Meta is refusing to give up on its dream project despite suffering enormous losses, even Mark’s “Avataar” being a laughingstock on social media platform, and being chastised for fueling the so-called Metaverse Hype!
Adding another feather to its cap, Meta is all set to launch Horizon Worlds on Mobile Devices. Yes, getting into Meta’s virtual world will be that easy now.
Meta has recently launched a beta test for Horizon Worlds on mobile devices.
Now if you are wondering about how it will work on mobile phones….
Let me tell you that Horizon Worlds on mobile will work similarly to game apps, with users being able to manage their avatar on-screen and communicate with VR players. Though the VR avatars don’t yet have legs, an ongoing source of concern, mobile players do, Meta is still ironing out some of the display bugs and variations.
With the launch of Horizon Worlds on mobile, many more people will be able to participate in Meta’s advanced digital environment, which will eventually become the foundational space of its next-level social interaction push. Meta’s ambition is that users will soon engage in all-new ways with their avatars for an increasing number of activities, ushering in the larger metaverse experience and encouraging increased VR take-up.
And, with the release of its next-generation Quest 3 headset on the horizon, the Horizon mobile app may see a wider rollout at exactly the perfect time.
