Binance To Remove PEPE, ADA Pairs From Liquidity Swap
The top cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, declared that several liquidity pools would no longer be available on its platform. The elimination will reportedly be implemented by Binance on September 1, 2023, and it will impact roughly 40 trading pairs, including the PEPE and ADA pairs.
Along with 38 other pairings, the liquidity pools for ADA/BNB and the Binance Liquid Swap will be eliminated.
The effort, according to a blog post on the Binance website, comes after a routine evaluation that enables Binance to concentrate liquidity for its users and guarantee an optimized trading experience, price, and slippage. Users with holdings in the impacted liquidity pools were notified by the cryptocurrency exchange that they will automatically get their deferred assets in their spot wallets at 4:00 (UTC) on the specified day.
Binance clarified that the removal of liquidity pools does not affect trading pairs on Binance Spot. Users can still trade in other liquidity pools on Binance Liquid Swap. However, before removal, users cannot add liquidity to affected pools starting at 06:00 on September 28.
